Helicon Building, Moorgate London
The Experis “new model” programme began with its new London headquarters at the Helicon building relocating them from a building that wasn’t working for their expanding business, fragmenting their teams across different floors. It was important that the new head office had the correct team adjacencies for the business all on one floor whilst also creating a bright and enjoyable place to work.
The fit out consisted of an impressive new meet and greet reception, boardroom and meeting room suite, various tea points throughout the floor and open plan space. Individual offices, quiet booths, external balcony terrace with outdoor seating, and training rooms.
Using the Experis marketing guidelines, the new design scheme emerged using a monochrome palette as the base, new white furniture, black seating, dark grey linear design flooring to open plan areas with bursts of corporate colours shown on manifestation, graphics, storage end panels, feature bulkheads and walls. This design scheme was then rolled out to 6 more locations throughout the UK.
Due to its location in the city Vernier ran an extremely tight ship, coordinating deliveries not only to the building but up to the 8th floor ensuring minimal disruption to any of the existing occupiers. The building’s manager was kept in the loop at all times to ensure the smooth completion of this project.
After a year, Manpower asked us to assist again with its internal adjustments with Experis incorporating a new business ‘Integral’ to the floor.
”ManpowerGroup have worked with Vernier on projects ranging from a couple of thousand pounds to million pound projects for the past 15 years. The range of projects has covered small branch decorations to full design and build within large multi occupied HQ’s. The attention to detail in cost and design, the continual updating of legislative knowledge and the very best on-site project management has always been a major strength of Vernier. The main reason why Manpower continue to keep Vernier as an important strategic partner.Lewis Smith, European Property DirectorManpower Group
